Ener-Con is pleased to be welcoming Transformers Generation 1 writer & producer Michael Charles Hill as a special guest this August! Michael worked on the original Transformers cartoon from 1984 to 1987, working as a producer on 95 episodes and as a writer on 6 episodes. Episodes penned by Michael include The Gambler, Starscream's Brigade, The Killing Jar, Ghost in the Machine, The Burden Hardest To Bear and The Return of Optimus Prime Part 2.

For the Season 2 Episode 'The Gambler' Michael created the character of Devcon, an Autobot Bounty Hunter who hunts Decepticon criminals across the galaxy. Devcon has become a fan favorite character and recently recieved his own cartoon accurate toy in the Transformers Legacy toy line.

Beyond Transformers Michael also served as a writer & producer for GI Joe, producing 85 episodes & writing 5 episodes from 1985 to 1991. Other notable cartoons on Michael's resume include Gobots, Jem, C.O.P.S, My Little Pony, Robocop and more!

Ener-Con is pleased to be welcoming Freelance Industrial Designer & Illustrator Xavier Basa as a special guest at this years convention! 

Xavier has been a prominent artist in the Transformers community for many years, working on official Hasbro package art and working on high profile Transformers fan projects like the Transformers Mosiac fan made comics! Xavier also contributed to past Ener-Con's doing some amazing event posters and providing original art for our kids coloring programming.

Known online under his Deviant Art handle 'Neurowing', Xavier is also an avid toy collector and customizer and will be showing off some of his custom Transformers at Ener-con this August! Xavier will be at Ener-Con on August 23rd & 24th selling prints of his amazing work and meeting with fans!

For over a decade, William O'Donnell & Bart Rucinski have been shoehorning Pope references into their art, work and casual conversations, leading into the wildly successful Surplus of Popes card game!

Individually, William is a professional actor and writer, most well known in the Transformers fandom as the voice of multiple characters in Harris Loureiro stop motions films on youtube, fan films which have garnered over 14 million views on youtube. William is also a huge part of all of Ener-Con's script readings, having voiced many memorable characters over the years.

Bart Rucinski is a talented visual artist who has worked professionally on the War Hammer franchise as well as all his fun sketches featuring 'The Pope'!
